Frequently Asked Questions
How much is a session, and how long does it last?
A one-hour session costs £80, and a one-and-a-half-hour session costs £110. Please see our Pricing page for more information on packages.
Will I feel claustrophobic inside the chamber?
Our chambers are designed to feel open and comfortable, with clear viewing windows that let in natural light. You will also have a two-way radio system so we can speak with you at any time during your session. We play relaxing binaural beats to help you stay calm, and most clients describe it as a peaceful and soothing experience.
Will I be cold? What should I wear, and what can I take inside?
You will not be cold as we provide blankets for your comfort. We recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing. You are welcome to bring your phone, laptop, or a book, but please avoid bringing anything flammable or sharp. If you would like water during your session, we will provide a plastic bottle.
Can two people go in at the same time?
Only one person can inhale oxygen at a time. A parent and child over the age of ten may go in together if reassurance is needed, but two adults cannot use the chamber at the same time.
Is there parking nearby?
Yes. There is free parking available on Redston Road, just a one-minute walk from the studio.
Can I pay in person?
All sessions must be paid for in advance. This helps us make the best use of staff time and avoids any confusion with scheduling.
What are the benefits and common uses?
Many clients use hyperbaric oxygen therapy to support recovery from chronic fatigue, stroke, long COVID, cancer treatment (it does not cure cancer but may help slow tumour growth), injury recovery, and post-surgery healing. It has also shown benefits for Parkinson’s, cognitive decline, and general wellbeing. High performers and wellness enthusiasts often include it as part of their regular health routine.
Will my ears hurt?
You may feel a slight pressure in your ears as the chamber pressurises, similar to the feeling you get when flying. This usually passes quickly once you equalise by gently holding your nose and blowing. Chewing gum or sipping water can also help. Our staff will guide you through the process and ensure you are comfortable throughout.
